Eggs Ala Goldenrod...

2 Tbs butter                    2 eggs

2 Tbs flour                      crackers or toast

1 cup milk

1/4 tsp salt

!. Make a medium white sauce out of the butter, flour, milk and salt.

2. Fill sauce pan with enough water to cover the eggs. Bring to a simmering temperature and let cook 15-20 minutes.

3. Peel eggs Cube into 1/2" pieces and put in white sauce.

4. Pour over toast or crackers..

Bacon & Egg Salad Sandwich..

Hard cook 1 dozen eggs: coarsely chop. Add 1/4 cup thinly sliced radishes and 1/2 cup chopped celery: mix gently. Blend 1/2 cup Mayonnaise with 2tsp imitation bacon bits and 1 tsp basil leaves. Combine with egg mixture. Chill. Make sandwiches with egg salad, lettuce leaves and rye bread. 

Makes filling for 6-8 sandwiches.
