Brownies...

1 cup sugar                                         2 eggs

1/2 cup cocoa                                    1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup shortening                              1/2 cup flour

Easy...put all in a bowl and mix by hand. Optional - stir in walnuts or chocolate chips. Spread into a greased 8"x8" pan. Bake 350º for 33 minutes.
