No Bake Chocolate Cookies...

2 cups sugar                                      1/2 cup cocoa

1/2 cup milk                                      1/2 cup butter (1 stick)

1/2 cup peanut butter                         3 cups oatmeal

1 tsp vanilla

Mix sugar, cocoa, milk and butter in heavy pan. Bring to boil and boil one minute. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Blend well. Stir in oatmeal and vanilla. Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper and cool. Makes about 30 cookies.

Swedish Butter Cookies...

1 cup soft butter

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

2 cups flour

1 cup finely chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, vanilla and pecans. Roll into 1/2" balls. Bake 375º for 12-15 minutes or until lightly brown. Roll in powdered sugar and store in tin container. Makes 4 dozen.
